NOTICIAS DE FEBRERO (2003)

HISTORIAS DE CANCIONES:

                                            En una revista aparecieron las supuesta historia de las siguientes canciones, esta en ingles, pero con un minimo de conocimiento de este idioma lo entendes.

1. “Something” The Beatles
In 1969, George Harrison wrote this song for his beautiful wife Patti. It is considered to be one of the best love songs ever written by the Beatles. The two were married in 1965. See entry #2 for what happened next.

2. “Layla” Derek and the Dominos
Another song inspired by Patti Boyd, who was married to George Harrison when she met his best friend Eric Clapton. Clapton wrote this tune about their secret love. But there was no bitterness on Harrison's part, he showed up at their wedding and the Beatles even performed. Clapton also wrote “Bell Bottom Blues," "I Am Yours" and "Wonderful Tonight" with Boyd as his muse.

3 & 4. The Verve Urban Hymns & Spiritualized Ladies & Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space
Kate Radley may be the only woman in history to have two albums in the British charts at the same time inspired by her loveliness. The shy keyboardist stole the heart of The Verve's Richard Ashcroft, whilst breaking up with Spiritualized's Jason Pierce. So Ashcroft wrote songs about their union for Urban Hymns, while Pierce wrote about their breakup on Ladies & Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space. Both albums came out in 1997. She is still married to Ashcroft with one child.

5. “Wonderwall” Oasis
A song written for Noel Gallagher's ex-wife Meg. Oasis has not performed the song since Meg and Noel split up. Noel says it's because Ryan Adams did a cover that surpassed the original. But we know better.

6. “John and Yoko" John Lennon
In 1969, the song "John and Yoko," from John Lennon's Wedding Album, was a 22 minute song (inspired by the couple's primal scream therapy) where each called out the other's name for, yep, 22 minutes. The album artwork contained a copy of their wedding certificate and a photo of a piece of their wedding cake.

7. “Uptown Girl” Billy Joel
Written for Billy's ex-wife, model Christine Brinkley, who also had a big role in the video. The Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl was a geographically desirable New York Uptown Girl, when Joel met her. The piano man also wrote “It's All About Soul” with her in mind. The couple divorced in 1994.

8. “Bicycle Race” Queen
Accompanied by naked bicycle race footage, that was presumed lost, and then found for 1981's video compilation entitled Queen's Greatest Flix, this track was inspired by the Tour De France. Allegedly whilst in France recording, Freddie Mercury was inspired by all those men on bikes. The video, however, had 50 naked women riding around on bicycles. A race was held at Wimbledon Stadium, London, and the winner adorned the cover of the single. However there was an outrage at this "blatantly rude" cover that the band agreed to have panties painted on the girl. Imagine if it had been guys?

9. “I Deserve It” Madonna
Did the Material Girl write the song "I Deserve It" (from her album, Music in 2000) about current hubby Guy Ritchie? Many believe she did. The lovely ballad talks about all the long roads she has traveled to lead her to "this guy." Madonna married the film director shortly after the album came out.

10. “Rosanna” Toto
Rosanna Arquette was this inspiration for this ballad from Toto's lead singer Steve Lukather. Their romance was hot and heavy but when the band returned from an extensive tour, Arquette was apparently not to be found. Toto's next album ... 1984's Isolation featured songs like "Change Of Heart," and "Carmen" (Steve's new girlfriend).

EL VIDEO DE FLASH:

                                        El video de la nueva versión de flash remixada por el grupo Vanguard ya tiene video, grabado en un cinema de Londres y dirigido por el director Sascha Bennett.

                                        Este grupo de Dj´s dicen que hacia mucho que tocaban esta versión en diferentes lugares, pero no pensaban que iba a terminar teniendo éxito, y que se basaron en el video de Flash hecho por QUEEN para hacer su propio video.

MUÑECOS QUEEN: 

                                  Una fabrica muy conocida de muñecos de toda clase, esta haciendo una votación de que artista se quiere que se haga un muñeco proximamente, entre los que ganan son Bob Marley y Slipknot, pero QUEEN no se queda atras, vota en www.spawn.com . TRAGICO FINAL:
                            En el dia 12 del vuelo en el Columbia, se utilizo la canción Love Of My Life para despertar a sus tripulantes, que desafortunadamente fallecieron a su regreso, aqui una carta de el primer astronauta de Israel agradeciendo que le pasaran ese tema porque es su favorito.                                                Nuestro querido baterista le dice no  a la guerra de EEUU e irak apareciendo en un revista diciendo solo 2 frases, "NO EN NUESTRO NOMBRE" y "NO DEBERIAMOS TOMAR PARTE DE ESTO" , que master.

VIDEO APARECIDO:

                                     Aparecio un video casero de Queen completamente perdido hasta hace una semana, increiblemente lo tenia un chico de 14 años que lo ha puesto en venta a 26.000 euros, el chico es ruso.

NOSOTROS TE GANAREMOS:

                                                             En la VIRGIN RADIO GLASGOW una conocida radio inglesa se pridujo una votacion donde se votaba por la mejor cancion de rock de la historia, y la cancion fue We Will Rock You, la populatr cancion de News of the world, en la lista se encontraban the beatles, rod stewart, entre otros....

LA VANGUARDIA ES ASI:

                                                 Una banda de dance o algo asi llamada Vanguard (vanguardia) hara otra version de la famosa cancion de queen FLASH´S THEME , se piensa hasta en hacer un video...

 QUEEN JUEGA AL FOOTBALL AMERICANO:

                               La banda norte-americana llamada STIX interpreto en el superbowl, la super final de el football americano en EEUU, We Are The Champions y We Will Rock You.

QUE VERGUENZA:

                                   Se eligieron las canciones que mas cambiaron el mundo pero increiblemente gano la ignorancia, y la cancion que verdaderamente cambio todos los parametros de la musica recien se encontraba en el puesto número 32. estos son los primeros 10 puestos...
